Momentum: Art of the Near West Side showcases the various talents and creative disciplines of artists working on Milwaukee’s Near West Side. The exhibition will be curated by Near West Side Art Advocates Erik Eide of Worldview Art Center and Brad Anthony Bernard of Community Arts & Funk Festival Productions. Located at Uplifting Mansion, one of Milwaukee’s newest event venues, the setting provides an elegant backdrop to display exhibited artworks in a historic destination located on Milwaukee’s up and coming Near West Side. Additionally, Uplifting Mansion will be formally launching their Artist in Residence Program to emerging and established Milwaukee artists. The selected exhibited works will be juried by a group of respected jurors to determine which artists will be awarded the Uplifting Mansion ‘Artist in Residence’ Award.
